FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
» Will my “dry clean only” clothes shrink if they are wet cleaned?
- In Professional Wet Cleaning, water is used as part of an absolutely controlled computerized process. Opposite to what most of us think, water alone does not shrink clothes. Factors such as mechanical action, water temperature, drying time, drying temperature, and percentage of humidity in garments; combined improperly, are responsible for the contraction of some delicate fibers. Professional Wet Cleaning uses computerized, state of the art equipment that controls each of these factors and many more, according to the specific requirements of each type of clothing. So when this technology is used by skilled personnel, wet cleaners can treat any material obtaining top results with no shrinkage.
» I’ve seen a “We care” sign in some dry cleaning facilities. Does this mean they also do wet cleaning?
- Many dry cleaners display signs indicating that their business is environmentally friendly, but these signs don't necessarily mean that the cleaner offers Professional Wet Cleaning. The "We Care" symbol, for example, only means that they dispose of hazardous waste in a proper manner.
